Turkey Day!

And just for you, the obligatory Thanksgiving Post.  You have one more day to stop by the ThanksGIVING Community Food Market in SL.  Several vendors have put fun, silly, and even a few useful items here all in an effort to raise money for The World Food Programme.  I’ve picked up a few fun things over the past few weeks, like a great sushi ring from Tasty (no pic … go see it yourself :p) and this fabulous ride on turkey from Thistle Homes!

Like the coffee mug I posted about yesterday, the turkey is its own little AO, maintaining through tps, so one may ride it all over the grid without fail, which I, of course, plan to do at least all day today and maybe for days to come.  I mean, seriously, how could I resist?

I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving, to all of you in the States.  To everyone else, just have a plain ol’ good day.  I’m off to see if my hocks are falling apart enough yet to put my greens in.  If you don’t know what that means, it’s ok, you just clearly haven’t had the pleasure of a good Southern meal. 🙂
